MSE offers 2-Year MBA degree in Finance / Business Analytics

The two-year MBA program is designed to offer degrees in Finance and Business Analytics. The academic year consists of six trimesters of approximately 12 weeks each, with each trimester comprising 6 courses. Each course carries 3 credits, totalling 108 credits for coursework plus 6 credits for the mandatory summer internship, bringing the program total to 114 credits. The MBA program begins in mid-July each year. The curriculum is structured across six trimesters of classroom instruction, with a mandatory summer internship conducted between the third and fourth trimesters (May-June). The internship component carries 6 credits and provides practical industry experience to complement the academic curriculum.

Why MSE for MBA?

MSE, established in 1993, is an Institution of Special Importance focused on economics education and research. The MBA program leverages this economics-focused institutional background to offer a distinctive quantitative approach to business education.

MBA in Finance This program combines core business management skills with specialized finance knowledge. Students study traditional areas like corporate finance and financial management alongside quantitative courses such as financial econometrics, derivatives pricing, and algorithmic trading. The curriculum balances practical business applications with analytical tools, preparing graduates for diverse roles in banking, investment management, and corporate finance.

MBA in Business Analytics This track develops both managerial competencies and technical data skills. The program covers management subjects while building expertise in programming, statistical analysis, and machine learning. Students explore emerging areas including natural language processing, quantum computing applications, and medical analytics. The curriculum prepares graduates to apply analytical methods to real business problems across consulting, analytics, and strategic analysis roles in various industries.

In the first year of the program, students are required to study the compulsory (core) courses. In the second year, students are required to opt for elective courses to strengthen specialization of the program they are enrolled into.
